Getting to Williamsburg, Brooklyn

AIRPORTS

JFK

Get to Williamsburg in 45 minutes by car or 90 minutes by air train + subway.

We recommend the subway if you land during rush hour and are familiar with using public transportation. Yellow cabs are always available and it costs about $70 to get to Williamsburg.

LaGuardia

Get to Williamsburg in 30 minutes by car or 60 minutes by public transportation.

This is our favorite airport because it is closest to Williamsburg. Lyft, Uber, or a yellow cab are the most direct and stress-free options. Public transportation improvements coming soon!

Newark

Get to Williamsburg in 45 minutes by car or 90 minutes by public transportation.

Newark has lots of flights from the West Coast, but is the furthest from Williamsburg. If you opt for public transport, you’ll come through Penn Station which is a thrilling city experience!

TRAIN

Amtrak

Get to Williamsburg in 40 minutes by car or 30 minutes by subway from Moynihan.

The train is easy if you are traveling from a major East Coast city. When you get off the train you’ll find yourself at the new Moynihan Train Hall, which is beautiful and has easy access to the subway!

BUS

Greyhound/Bolt

Get to Williamsburg in 40 minutes by car or 30 minutes by subway from Port Authority.

The bus is great if there is no traffic and your bus has the stamina to make it to Port Authority. We’ve both traversed the East Coast by bus and it holds a special place in our hearts.

CAR

Rental Car + Parking

Travel time varies depending on where you are traveling from.

If you can avoid being responsible for a car this weekend, you should. Alternate side parking rules and tolls inspire us to walk everywhere! If you must, we recommend booking a garage where you can store your car for the weekend.
